Renae Wilson, DDS
As a child, Renae Wilson loved going to the dentist. The machinery fascinated her, and her dentist made her feel comfortable with his friendly style. Now she's grown up to become one of San Diego County's leading cosmetic dentists and hasn't forgotten the lesson she learned as a child: Visiting the dentist doesn't have to be dreaded, it can actually be fun. Patients enter her welcoming office where laughter and jokes put them at ease. "A light tone is encouraged", says Dr. Wilson. "We have fun, and I don't see why the patients can't have fun too."
Dr. Wilson Is a Northwestern University graduate with over 21 years of experience in a variety of cosmetic procedures. Whether you need composite fillings, crowns, implants, bridges or veneers, she can help you achieve a beautiful healthy smile.
"Veneers are my favorite procedures," she says. "Some people have been walking around most of their lives with their hand in front of their face. When you put those veneers on and give them a mirror, it just changes their life forever."
Another highlight of Dr. Wilson's practice is the "non-waiting" waiting room. Careful scheduling means patients are seen on time and receive her full attention. She makes sure her patients know exactly what's going on during procedures that use the latest in diagnostic technology. Each room is equipped with intra-oral cameras with viewing monitors, digital x-rays and a laser cavity finder. "The secret is using this technology and having patients understand it", she says, which helps patients feel more comfortable and less fearful.
"I'm a high-energy extrovert," Dr. Wilson says. "I love talking with patients, giving them beautiful smiles and helping them feel confident about themselves."

What do I like most about my job: I am dedicated, professional and compassionate making sure my patients receive the best care while also making them feel comfortable so that their visit is a good experience. I enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about their life and hearing updates each time they come to our office while providing them the optimum hygiene care. Dr Wilson and the team are like family to me, I love coming to work.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling around the world. As a San Diego native, I also enjoy local outdoor adventures.

What I love about my job: It doesn’t feel like work, it feels like I am going to visit family, catching up on conversations from past visits, while enjoying each others’ company. It just so happens there is some dentist work being done at the same time. My goal is to make each patient feel as comfortable and as at home in our office as possible.
How do I spend my free time: As a San Diego native, I enjoy spending time outdoors and especially time at the beach or exploring in the mountains. I appreciate our San Diego with every weekend a staycation. I love my 2 dogs Bridgette and Ginger and my cat, Moki.
